A retro-modern dream: the collaboration continues

The disease of the nostalgic dream was diagnosed as A + Type.

We transgressed and found the fossilized embryo of memory on the moist hands of monsoon. The chronicles of a retro dream penetrated the shiny white walls of the future and left an aquamarine smell of memory.
You and I the secret citizens of the memory motel, travelling on unmapped roads.

A road movie: A retromodern collaboration between adim phukan and desiremachine collective

Montage killed the aura of the unique. So we started to travel with the homeless camera. To find out the fragments and decipher the assembly of the parts, we break all the settlement of our desires. With a static 50mm gaze we entered a shifting landscape. The apparent hyperrealism of modernity melted into the air, removing unnecessary factuality/ facticity and replacing it by inner/outer breathing space.

Welcome to the ruins of future: Retromodern: Retrograde

Welcome to the ruins of future: The much prophesized future of our dreams has long since arrived in the splendorous overindulgent mass produced fantasies of instant gratification. Now, what after the orgasm of the ‘future’ has ebbed into the hangover, the void of the present? How much longer can we attempt to cover the perpetually growing black hole in our centre with ludicrous attempts of hype, hyper reality, hyper ecstasy and frenzy? How can we attempt to exit the loop of our fatal strategies which is constantly spiraling in towards the looming void at the centre.
Where do we begin? It all begins in ruins. Welcome to the ruins of the future.
